Instructors New to Blackboard

Each faculty and staff member automatically has a Blackboard account.  You may grant your students access to the course material and grades at any time by activating your course.

 

Required Blackboard Approval Steps

  1. Login to Blackboard using your UHD ID and password.
  2. You should see the Blackboard Course Quick Activation link in your course list. If you do not see it, email bb@uhd.edu
  3. Click on the module inside and complete the survey. You will be contacted by email or phone, letting you know when you can proceed to the course activation step.
  4. After receiving email notification, Activate Your Students PDF

Students will be unable to access your courses unless you complete the above steps.
