This is intended as a basic introduction to Blackboard Learn. After learning the four basic functions from the Quick Start toolkit below, you can get started building a virtual classroom.
Faculty - Quick Start Learn Toolkit Steps
Short journey begins below...
| Step 1: How do I log into Blackboard Learn? |
This step provides basic instructions on how to log into Blackboard Learn and how to enter a Blackboard Learn course for the first time. |
| Step 2: How do I view my class roster in Blackboard Learn? |
This step provides basic information on accessing the roster in a Blackboard Learn course.
|
| Step 3: How do I upload a document into my Blackboard Learn course? |
Click the link below to view the steps necessary to upload a document, such as your syllabus, to your Blackboard Learn course. |
| Step 4: How can I communicate with my students in Blackboard? |
There are two types of email tools in Blackboard Learn: Messages and Email. Messages are private and secure communication that occurs within a course and among course members, much like the course mail tool used in previous versions of Blackboard at UHD. The Email tool sends messages out of the course to a user's default email address (usually GatorMail). After mail is sent using the Email tool, Blackboard no longer keeps a record of the communication. This step provides information for communicating with your students using the Blackboard Learn Messages tool and the Blackboard Learn Email tool.
