Faculty - Quick Start Toolkit Steps
Short journey begins below...
Step 1: How do I log into Blackboard?
This step provides basic instructions on how to log into Blackboard and how to enter a Blackboard course for the first time.
Step 2: How do I view my class roster in Blackboard?
This step provides basic information on accessing the roster in a Blackboard course.
Step 3: How do I upload a document into my Blackboard course?
Click the link below to view the steps necessary to upload a document, such as your syllabus, to your Blackboard course.
Step 4: How can I communicate with my students in Blackboard?
There are two types of email tools in Blackboard : Messages and Email. Messages are private and secure communication that occurs within a course and among course members, much like the course mail tool used in previous versions of Blackboard at UHD. The Email tool sends messages out of the course to a user's default email address (usually GatorMail). After mail is sent using the Email tool, Blackboard no longer keeps a record of the communication.
This step provides information for communicating with your students using the Blackboard Messages tool and the Blackboard Email tool.
