EMERGENCY LOANS
Emergency tuition loans are available during Fall and Spring semesters only to students who are unable to make their first installment payment either because financial aid funds are not yet available or because of temporary financial hardship.
In order to apply you must:
•
 be registered for all classes you intend to take
•
 have two picture IDs (preferably a driver's license and a student ID)
•
 be classified as a Texas resident for tuition purposes
•
 not have any holds on your account.

Terms for Emergency Tuition Loans
•
 Cover first installment payment only (You must make all following installment payments.)
•
 carry a $24 installment charge and an interest charge of 5%
•
 Are due 90 days from the date the money is borrowed. Repayment must be made in the Cashier's Office on or before the due date.

Applying for Emergency Tuition Loans:
  Emergency loans will be available online through e-services during the period specified in the Academic Calendar. Go to e-services and select my payment. You will need your User ID (Student ID Number) and PIN. If you do not know your PIN or have forgotten it, please come to N330 or call 713-221-8000.
