Placement testing
The AccuPlacer
is the university's placement test. All incoming freshmen are required
to
take the placement test.
Steps to register
for and take the placement test:
- Obtain a placement
form from the Academic Advising Center in room South-360.
Freshmen: AccuPlacer will be administered during
Orientation.
What to bring:
- Two pieces of identification (Current Official Photo ID must be
issued by a
school, employer, or city/state/federal government agency)
- Several sharpened No. 2 pencils (with erasers)
- $29.00 for exam fee (cash, money order, VISA, MasterCard or Dicover Card)
Getting test results:
You can find out your placement results immediately following the
test by sitting with an Academic Advisor in the Academic Advising Center in room South-360.
The
placement test is offered only to UH-Downtown students. If you have not
been admitted to UH-Downtown please check your admissions status at
