Transfer Orientation Programs
Since every university is different, we encourage all transfer students to attend this half-day program. During orientation you will obtain valuable information about the university that will make your transition to UHD easier! Remember, you must be accepted to the university before you can attend an orientation program. Registration for transfer orientation should be completed at least two weeks prior to the designated orientation date for preparation purposes.

Who Attends Transfer Orientation?
If you have more than 15 college-level credits from a regionally accredited school, have never before attended UHD, and are a U.S. citizen, you qualify for admission to UHD as a regular transfer student. If you have less than 15 college-level credits to transfer, have never attended UHD, and are a U.S. citizen, you are considered a freshman transfer student. As a freshman transfer student, you are required to apply for admissions as a freshman student and attend a freshman orientation program.
