UHD offers a Freshman Orientation Program and a Transfer Orientation Program designed to introduce new students into the University of Houston-Downtown community. Orientation serves as a collaborative effort among UHD departments to ease you into our University environment.

Orientation allows you to take care of your testing needs, have the opportunity to meet campus personnel, tour UHD facilities, attend personal advising sessions and register for classes.

You will get a lot of resource information that will help you be successful during your first semester as a UHD student. Orientation is an excellent way to get your enrollment tasks done at one time and become acquainted with your new campus and all it has to offer.
