Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Houston-Downtown! We are happy that you have chosen UHD to further pursue your education! New Student Orientation provides a mandatory two-day program designed specifically to meet the needs of incoming freshman students.

Orientation will guide you through all the necessary steps to get tested, advised, registered, and prepared for classes. It will also help you make a smooth transition into our university by familiarizing you with student services and campus life activities. Orientation is your first step to success at UHD!

It is very important that you attend the earliest orientation possible. It is also the time to ask questions about the university and find out what it has to offer you as a new student.
