Freshman Students: Applicants who are, or soon will be, high school graduates, GED recipients, or home school graduates. Freshman applicants have fewer than 15 college-level credit hours earned.
Freshman-Transfer applicants have less than 15 college credit hours, follow the Freshman Application procedures, and submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
GED Recipients must submit their official GED certificate in person, or a true copy via mail.
Home School Students are welcome as applicants for admission. Home schooled students are evaluated for admission on the same basis as students from public and other private high schools.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Incoming freshmen can view the International Baccalaureate (IB) course equivalency table here.
All transcripts sent to UHD must be official; an official transcript includes the school's official seal, the signature of the school official, your class rank and size, and your high school coursework. Copies and faxes do not satisfy this requirement. If your high school does not rank class members, include a statement from your school stating its policy, a copy of your school's profile and grade distribution. All high school GPAs are converted to a 4.0 scale.
If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Admissions at 713-221-8522, email@example.com or contact an Admissions Counselor.
