Important Financial Aid Dates
In financial aid, timing is everything. Missing critical dates usually means not having financial aid to assist in your registration costs. If you apply late you can still be awarded aid, but you won't know about your eligibility until after the term begins. If your financial aid is important to your education, be aware of these critical dates:
| January 2, 2008 | Earliest date you can complete the FAFSA. We encourage you to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after this date. |
| January 7, 2008 | Disbursement for Spring 2008. OSFA ill begin releasing financial aid for Spring 2008. Disbursements will occur on a daily basis through January 12th. Regular disbursements schedule will resume on January 14th to twice a week. |
| April 1, 2008 | Priority Deadline. Files completed by this date will receive priority processing for the Fall semester. Note: a completed file is one in which all necessary documentation has been received and has been reviewed by a counselor. |
| April 1, 2008 | Summer Financial Aid. Application for summer aid available in the OSFA. |
| June 6, 2008 | Summer Financial Aid Deadline. Application for summer aid must be made by this date. If your file for summer 2008 is completed after this date your file will not be processed for summer financial aid. |
