REQUESTING ENROLLMENT/DEGREE VERIFICATIONS

In accordance with FERPA Regulations, employers, loan processors, insurance companies and many other institutions may contact UH-Downtown to confirm the following information:
Directory Information:
•	Name
•	Address
•	Telephone Number
•	E-mail Address
•	Date and Place of Birth
•	Dates of attendance
•	Most recent previous education institution attended
•	Major and minor fields of study
•	Degree/Awards received
•	Participation in officially recognized activities

If you attended UH-Downtown when it was Southwest Texas Junior College, you must be sure to include your approximate dates of attendance on your request form.

Loan Deferment: UH-Downtown automatically reports the enrollment status for loan deferment purposes of all currently enrolled students three times a semester to the National Clearinghouse which routinely reports to the Department of Education as well as lenders and guarantors
