Your Cost of Higher Education |

| All Mandatory Fees are subject to approval of the UH System Board of Regents. Center fees include Student Activities, Student Life Center, Information Center, Student ID's and O'Kane Gallery. |

| Totals do not include parking fees, new student orientation fees, locker rental fees, special lab and telecommunication fees or the one-time-only $10 property deposit fee required of all students new to UHD. |

| Totals for International Students include an additional service fee ($45). Totals do not include the mandatory fee for health insurance. $215 for Summer only. $425 for Spring/Summer. |

| Totals do not include a distance fee of $30 per semester credit hour for all courses taught at an off-campus location. |

If you are receiving financial aid, your award will be automatically released to your account. (If you change your mind about attending UHD, you MUST drop your classes). If payment or financial aid has not been received by the payment deadline, your registration will be canceled. A $20 fee will be added to all checks returned for insufficient funds.

| Third Repeat of Course Tuition/Fee |
| Per Texas Education Code 61.0595, the State will not support more than three attempts of the same course or more than 18 hours of developmental course work. A $65 fee per hour for classes that exceed the approved limit will be charged. |

In addition, based on Texas Education Code 61.0595, the State will not support excess hours attempted.
Students who enrolled for the first time in a Texas public higher education institution in the Fall 1999 semester or after, and who attempt more than 45 hours over those required by their degree plan, will be charged an additional $65 per semester credit hour.
Students who enrolled for the first time in a Texas public higher education institution in the Fall 2006 semester or after, and who attempt more than 30 hours over those required by their degree plan, will be charged an additional $65 per semester credit hour.
