As a Distance Education (DE) student, you will also be one of the following types of UH-Downtown students and you must follow the appropriate registration procedures:
New Student
Current Student
>>>Undeclared Major
>>>Eligible to Self Advise
>>>Declared Major
Teacher Education Student
Graduate Student
If you choose to register for distance education courses, a distance fee will be added to your normal tuition and fees. Any course that is delivered 50% or more at an off-campus location or 50% or more online is classified as a Distance Education course and qualifies for the fee.
- A distance fee of $25.00 per SCH is assessed for all courses taught at an off-campus location.
- A distance online fee of $50.00 per SCH is assessed for all courses taught online.
