Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management
Our BBA in HRM prepares our graduates to take on a number of roles, including but
not limited to specialist roles in job analysis, recruitment & selection, training
& development, and compensation & benefits. The program is aligned with the Society
for Human Resource Management (SHRM) curriculum and was designed considering input
from Houston industry leaders.
Graduates from SHRM aligned programs are eligible for a special SHRM student certification,
regardless of their work experience. In addition, this is the only BBA in HRM in the
Houston metropolitan area. The closest similar program is offered in Huntsville, TX
(75 mi north of downtown Houston).
About the Program
The BBA in HRM consists of 120-hour-credit hours with the following structure:
- Preparatory Requirements/Common Core Requirements: 42 hours
- Business Core Requirements: 48 hours
- HRM Major Requirements: 30 hours (24 hours required, 6 hours elective)
