Attrition, Grades, Reenrollment and Graduation
Significantly reduce attrition rates in "high-risk" courses.


In courses which have a 30 percent or higher rate of D and F final course grades and withdrawals, SI reduces these combined rates by approximately 30% to 50%. At UMKC these courses include those from the lower division College of Arts and Sciences and professional and graduate schools.


SI participants receive higher mean final course grades (4 point scale).
