Supplemental Instruction Program

Performance Indicators
SI significantly reduces attrition
rates in "high-risk" courses.
In courses which have a 30 percent or higher rate of D and F final course
grades and withdrawals, SI reduces these combined rates by approximately
30% to 50%. At UMKC these courses include those from the lower division
College of Arts and Sciences and professional and graduate schools.
