Employment Program

Application Process

We invite interested students to apply to serve as Supplemental Instruction leaders. In order to participate in the program, you must be currently enrolled in UHD, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have received an A or B in the course for which you lead SI sessions. In your first semester you may S.I. for one course, which will include attending the lecture and leading 2 hours per week of discussion sessions. In subsequent semesters you have the option of leading sessions for a maximum of two courses. Your rate of pay for six hours per week (per course) is at $8.50 per hour.
