Office of International Education
UHD Study Abroad Awards

checkThe UHD Study Abroad Travel Awards support academic studies that include a travel abroad component. The purpose of the University Study Abroad Award is to help increase the participation of UH-Downtown students in study abroad programs.  Recipients are expected to be ambassadors of international understanding abroad and within the community upon their return.  Funding for these awards is provided through the university’s international education fee of $5 per semester.  Applications are reviewed by a committee of administrators, faculty, and students.
