Steps to Prepare for Convocation

1. You are required to read Mountains Beyond Mountains by August 5.

2. You are required to write a 500-word essay which is due no later than August 10.

The best essay will receive a $500 cash prize!

3. On writing and submitting the essay, see the instructions on the homepage.

4. You are Required to Attend Freshman Convocation!

Date: August 25th
Time: 9am – 12pm
Place: 3rd floor Academic Building
Registration and light breakfast begin at 8:00am

The President and Deans will welcome you to UHD in order to launch your academic career.  We will discuss Mountains Beyond Mountains and your essays then.
