Course Description |
Hybrid course description: This course focuses on the study of the psychological processes that occur within groups and between groups as a function of the individual. This course uses a hybrid format; that is the hybrid course combines traditional face-to-face classroom interaction with online computer-based learning (about 51/49%). Students and instructor will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays during summer 1; the remainder of the coursework is completed online independently. This course is designed to engage students in the active, autonomous learning process of an internet-based course while providing weekly class interactions. Of course, this type of class format allows for students to be flexible but also requires much discipline.

Of course, this type of class format allows for students to be flexible but also requires discipline. All work will be submitted online using Blackboard Vista. The course includes journals, web assignments, class discussion and tests. All assignments can be submitted at any time, but there is a deadline for each one, so make sure you allow yourself enough time to submit your work.
