Course Description |
A continuation of BA 3301, including laws governing sales, credit transactions, bankruptcy, negotiable instruments, corporations, partnerships and property. The emphasis of this course is commercial law and business.
PREREQUISITE: BA 3301 and completion of, or enrollment in, BA 3300

Course Objectives |
- To acquaint students with some of the fundamental laws and legal concepts in the
following areas: Sales transactions and warranties, negotiable instruments, banking, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, property, business organizations, securities law including Sarbanes-Oxley, antitrust, corporate governance, risk management and ethics
- To develop in students the ability to recognize the legal dimension of business activities
in those areas so as business persons they will effectively seek legal counsel.
- To develop and enhance the critical thinking and analysis skills of the students.
- To familiarize students with the ethical and moral dimensions on the development and
application of law.
- To develop skills in learning and working collaboratively via the internet.
