One-on-one math and statistics tutoring with faculty and peer tutors in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Tutors coach students through their exercises. The goal is to increase each student's ability to understand and apply mathematical principles and knowledge, acquire better study skills, become more independent in their learning, and excel in their math classes.

THEA Review
The THEA Test is the only assessment developed specifically to evaluate the readiness of students for college-level coursework in Texas. It was developed through a rigorous review and approval process supported by skilled and experienced Texas educators. To be able to declare your major in the college of Education at UHD you must pass the 3 sections of the THEA test. Here is the link for the review.
