Advising - Transfer Student
    
A
transfer student is an individual who has attended an accredited college
or university, but has never attended the UH-Downtown.

Complete
and submit an application
for admission with Office of Admissions.

Submit
official transcripts (which bears the institution's seal) from all
previously attended colleges regardless of whether college credit
was earned.

Meet the requirements of the Texas
Success Initiative before enrolling for college-level courses.
There are
a number of helpful tools and programs available to new students at UH-Downtown.
Be sure to take advantage of them for your college success.

Catalog outlines student services, policies and procedures, degree
programs, course descriptions, etc.

Student Handbook outlines students services and policy statements
concerning students' rights and responsibilities. As a UH-D student,
you are responsible for understanding your
advising responsibilities and your advisor's responsibilities.
The relationship between you and your advisor is a shared responsibility.
It's never
too late to look at what the future will hold and UH-Downtown offers students
many options for academic and future success.
