For new students or students who have not declared a major:

All students who are newly admitted to UHD must see an advisor in the Academic Advising Center in University College each semester.  It is only after you have applied for your major in the Academic Advising Center and been accepted into one of the UHD colleges, that you are eligible to see an academic advisor in the appropriate college.

For continuing and some transfer/transient students:

If you experience difficulty using the Online Course Approval system, you may send an email requesting course approval to uhdadvising@uhd.edu.  Please be sure to include the following information:

1. Full Name
2. Date of Birth
3. Course prefix & course number (NO CRN #’s)
4. Specify the term for each course (i.e. fall, spring, summer I or summer II)

For students who have already declared a major:

If you have already declared a major, see an advisor in the college in which you are enrolled.
