The advisors will guide students through academic progresses and procedures that are integral to their success, will act as a mentor to our student population and inform students of the plethora of resources that are available to them academically, socially and personally. The advisors will assist students who are in various transitional phases of their collegiate education to matriculate through our institution.

Complete the course approval form before meeting with your advisor.

degree programs, course descriptions, etc.

UH-Downtown Student Handbook outlines students services and policy
statements concerning student rights and responsibilities. As
a UH-Downtown student, you are responsible for understanding your
advising responsibilities and your advisors' responsibilities.
The relationship between you and your advisor is a shared responsibility.
It's
