Applications are accepted year-round. For priority consideration, apply 60 days before the start of the fall/spring semester.  All college transcripts should be submitted to UHD Scholars Academy for review in addition to the UHD Admissions Office.

General Scholarship Requirements

	Minimum 3.0 GPA overall (on a 4.0 scale)
	Be enrolled at UHD as a full-time student and a member of the Scholars Academy
	Declare your major within one of the following departments at UHD: Computer and Mathematical Sciences (CMS); Engineering Technology; or Natural Sciences
	Most scholarships require U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; internationals are still invited to apply

Individual Recommendation Forms

The UHD Admissions application fee of $35 will be required upon acceptance into the Scholars Academy. To apply for UHD admissions – Go to www.applytexas.org and create an "Apply Texas" Account. After completion, you will receive a letter from the UHD Office of Admissions within 4-7 businss days regarding the
status of your application.
