Students must be either a sophomore or junior to be eligible to apply. Juniors within the program who maintain the required 3.25 GPA and qualified status within the program may be promoted to Senior MARC Scholars Status. If a senior position should become available due to attrition of a Junior Scholar, applications would be accepted for the open senior position(s), but eligibility for an open position would require undergraduate research experience in the biomedical sciences and attendance of GRE prep courses that are currently available from the Scholars Academy.
Accepted students will be required to participate in MARC USP Training Activities that will be held in the summer, including Undergraduate Research Programs and the Family Symposium. Click here to download the MARC application. The deadline is February 10, 2010.
Students will be notified of their acceptance into the program by April 1, 2010.
