Current Scholars
Welcome to the UHD Scholars Academy! The Scholars Academy is an academically competitive program in the UHD College of Sciences and Technology that promotes scholarship and student success for undergraduate students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Applications are accepted year-round. For priority consideration, apply 60 days before the start of the fall/spring semester. High school applicants are encouraged to apply as early as their junior year. The application for Scholars Academy is available below:

The UHD Admissions application fee of $35 will be required upon acceptance into the Scholars Academy. To apply for UHD admissions – Go to www.applytexas.org and create an ‘ApplyTexas” Account. After completion, you will receive a letter from the UHD Office of Admissions within 4-7 business days regarding the status of your application.
