Water Quality
Globally, water is in very short supply and climate change will exacerbate shortages. Even in Houston - a water rich region - water shortages are predicted by 2060. UHD students explored water quality issues through their research and volunteer activities.

Biology 1312 student Kristina Burke participated in Marsh Mania 2010 on May1st. This marsh planting was sponsored by the Galveston Bay Foundation. Kristina traveled to the event location where she spent the day working in the field with other volunteers.
