Ken Johnson joined the Natural Sciences faculty in 2002, and teaches courses in geology.   He also serves as a Faculty Mentor in UHD’s Scholars Academy .   His research involves the application of fieldwork, petrography, and geochemistry to a wide range of geologic problems, particularly those related to silicate magmas and metallic ore deposits.   More information about Dr. Johnson can be found at:   http://gator.uhd.edu/~johnsonk .
