The Department
Natural Sciences (NS) begins, in Fall 2007, the Intervention
Symposia Series, funded in part by the Quality Enhancement
Plan of the University of Houston-Downtown. Topics covered
are typically difficult for students and appear many
times over the course of a student's academic career.
The symposia presentations present these difficult concepts
in a more casual and FUN classroom
environment to promote a much more in-depth understanding
of the concepts. Each symposium will be videotaped and
made available. |
