Assistant Chief of Professional Development William "Pat" Little
is a twenty-three year veteran of the Houston Fire Department. He is the
Assistant Chief over Professional Development where he overseas the training
of both the new firefighters and the members in the field. Chief Little
holds a Master of Science degree in Fire and Emergency Management from
Oklahoma State University; a Master of Art degree in Public Administration
from the University of Houston-Clearlake; a Bachelor of Business Administration
degree from the University of Houston; and an Associates of Applied Science
degree in Fire Science Technology from San Jacinto College. Chief Little
is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Houston-Downtown Safety
and Fire Engineering Technology Department. Chief Little sits on the advisory
board of the University of Houston-Downtown School of Safety and Fire
Engineering Technology. San Jacinto College School of Fire Technology,
and the Houston Community College Schools of Fire Technology.
