The Safety and Fire Engineering Technology degree program focuses on applying engineering principles with fire dynamics and fire codes. Computer technology is utilized to analyze and design safe industrial facilities.

Safety and Fire Engineering Technology graduates gain a solid foundation in analysis, design, testing, and implementing fire protection systems.  Graduates will also be able to proficiently apply their knowledge in mathematics, science, and engineering in combination with computer software and hardware tools to solve technical problems.

Safety and Fire Engineering Technology develops graduates with strong social skills and perform well in team oriented tasks and have the ability to present information with sound communication skills and dedication to professionalism.
