Biographical Sketch

George Pincus is Dean of the College of Sciences and Technology, and Professor of Engineering Technology at the University of Houston-Downtown. Prior service includes Dean of the Newark College of Engineering and Professor of Civil Engineering, New Jersey Institute of Technology; Chair of Civil Engineering and Professor, University of Houston ; Chief of Party and Professor USAID/University of Houston Brazil Program in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ; and Associate Professor of Structural Engineering, University of Kentucky , Lexington , KY.   Dr. Pincus has published over 50 refereed journal articles, 3 books and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
