The PREP teachers and Program Assistants attended Training Sessions during the week of June 3 - June 7, 2002. The sessions were conducted by: Jacquelyn Allen, NASA - Johnson Space Center; Yash Gad, Graduate Student at the University of Illinois; and Mitsue Nakamura and Anna Simmons, UHD Lecturers in Mathematical Sciences.

Topics of the training sessions included: Development of Classroom Lessons; Getting acquainted with CASIO “CFX-9850Ga PLUS” Calculator; NASA Activities and Engineering Projects. These sessions were provided to better prepare the teachers and Program Assistants for the summer program.
