Strategic Planning Group
The membership of the advisory/strategic planning group organized under the MSI-CI pilot project will
continue to serve in that capacity along with seven additions.
Members include:

(ANL);
- Malcom Atkinson, Envoy for e-Service (UK), Director of the National e-Science Center (UK)
and the International Collaboration to Extend and Advance Grid Education
(ICEAGE);

- Jay Boisseau, Director of the Texas Advanced Computing Center
(TACC);
- Charles Catlett, Director of the TeraGrid;

- Richard Tapia, University Professor, Maxfield and Oshman Professorship in Engineering,
and Director of Education and Outreach Programs, Center for High Performance Software, and
Director of the Center for Excellence and Equity in Education, Research, Rice University;
- And Larry Smarr, Director, California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology
(Cal(IT)2), UCSD.
This group brings Irreplaceable CI and e-science expertise to
this project.
