The membership of the advisory/strategic planning group organized under the MSI-CI pilot project will continue to serve in that capacity along with seven additions.

      Members include:

• Fran Berman, Director, San Diego Super Computer Center ( SDSC), UCSD
     and the PI on the NSF TeraGrid;
• Dan Reed, Director, Renaissance Computing Institute ( RENCI), UNC-CH
     and former Director of the National Center for Supercomputer Applications ( NCSA);
• Mark Ellisman, Director, Biomedical Informatics Research Network ( BIRN), UCSD;
• Kevin Droegemeier, Linked Environments for Atmospheric Discovery ( LEAD), Oklahoma University;
• Ian Foster, University of Chicago, and the Associate Division Director, Distributed Systems Lab (DSL),
     Mathematics and Computer Science, Argonne National Laboratory (ANL);
• Malcom Atkinson, Envoy for e-Service (UK), Director of the National e-Science Center (UK)
     and the International Collaboration to Extend and Advance Grid Education (ICEAGE);
• Tom Dunning, Director of the National Center for Supercomputer Applications (NCSA);
• Jay Boisseau, Director of the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC);
• Charles Catlett, Director of the TeraGrid;
• Juan Meza, Department Head, High Performance Computing Research Department, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory(CRD);
• Richard Tapia, University Professor, Maxfield and Oshman Professorship in Engineering, and Director of Education and Outreach Programs, Center for High Performance Software, and Director of the Center for Excellence and Equity in Education, Research, Rice University;
• And Larry Smarr, Director, California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Cal(IT)²), UCSD.

This group brings Irreplaceable CI and e-science expertise to this project.
