Scholarships and Applications
The following information concerns current scholarships for UHD criminal justice students.
A Listing of Available Scholarships:
100 Club Endowed Scholarship: This is awarded to a criminal justice major who is not funded by the regular peace officer 100 Club Scholarship. The individual should be planning a career in Law Enforcement. ($1,000 to be awarded each fall and spring)
Success Scholarship Center Scholarship: This is awarded to Hispanic criminal justice students who apply directly to the center using applications furnished by the Criminal Justice Department. The department’s only role is to advertise and provide the application forms: ($1,200 each to three awardees in the spring)
Other scholarship programs that may be approved by the Department Chair or higher administrative authority.
*NOTE: The spring scholarships are to be awarded at the annual UHD Awards ceremony; therefore the selection process must be completed prior to the April ceremony.
** None of the above listed scholarships are tuition waiver scholarships:
