Graduation Information
How do I apply for graduation?
To apply for graduation an Application for Graduation must be filed with your College of Public Service (CPS) advisor. Submit an Application for Graduation (3 ways to apply):
- In person to the CPS Advising Services, Commerce Bldg., C420
- Fill out the form, save, and email to: cpsadvisor@uhd.edu
Applications Forms:
Complete and submit the Survey of Graduates Form. Make sure you will complete your degree requirements in the semester you plan to graduate.

Diploma Order Form
Complete the Diploma Order Form and pay the mandatory $50 Application Fee at the UHD Cashier’s Office
When do I apply for graduation?
| Fall | If you are graduating in FALL, your application for graduation will be accepted through September 15th. |
| Spring | If you are graduating in SPRING, your application for graduation will be accepted through February 15th. |
| Summer |
If you are graduating in SUMMER SESSION I, your application will be accepted through June 14th. If you are graduating in SUMMER SESSION II, your application will be accepted through June 28th. If you are graduating in SUMMER SESSION III, your application will be accepted through July 19th. |
Students submitting an application for graduation after the deadline will be considered for graduation on a case-by-case basis. Should a decision be made in favor of you graduating, please be aware that you will miss having your information printed in the commencement program.
