Students! Please take our survey. We are asking students to evaluate the services provided by the UHD Writing and Reading Center (WRoCk) so that we may better meet student needs. The attached survey will take only 5-7 minutes of your time. Your responses will be completely anonymous. This survey is voluntary. You do not need to fill it out if you do not want to participate. If you have any questions about this survey you can contact Dr. Sandra Dahlberg at dahlbergs@uhd.edu or Dagmar Scharold at scharoldd@uhd.edu.

Events

The WRoCK (Writing & Reading Center) is looking for UHD artists who really know how to WRoCK !

Submit an original piece to our art contest. Submission is open to any current UHD student.

Things to remember when considering your art for submission:

Theme, subject matter, and medium are open - as long as it's not offensive or inappropriate.

Your art must fit into one of the following frames- 11" x 17", 9" x 12", 8" x 10", 16" x 20". However, we are also looking to fill a large wall with some sort of mural. In this case, the piece will not need to fill a frame.

You MUST attach your name and contact information somewhere on the back of your piece. We will need to know who to contact if you've won!

Your art MUST be submitted by October 19th to 925-N. We will close the contest on this day and judging will take place on October 20th. Winners will be contacted by WROCk staff and will have their work featured on the walls of WRoCK in 925-N!

Stop by and check out our “gallery” space for inspiration. We look forward to seeing your work in the Writing  & Reading Center, 925-N!
