Courses & Programs

In addition to tutoring sessions, conferences and online assistance, the WRC offers English courses and a Developing Writers program to boost your reading and writing skills.

English 1101 & 1105
If you are having problems in some area of your writing, faculty tutors can design ENG 1101 and 1105 to assist you in developing the necessary skills to overcome your specific obstacles.

• To enroll, register during the semester registration period.
  Once registration is closed, report to the WRC (N925) and sign up with a tutor.

English 1201
If you are placed in Developmental Probation, ENG 1201 offers individualized instruction in a course specifically designed to get you back on track.

Developing Writers Program
For English 1300 and 130A students only
You must be referred by your instructor for this program in which you attend two Developing Writers conferences each week. You always meet with the same tutor, and your conference notes are sent directly to your instructor.
