SOS majors seeking this minor will need to take the following courses as part of their regular degree:
MATH 1301 serves as a prerequisite for most of the courses in this minor.
SOS 3312 or MATH 3309 may serve as rerequisites for MATH 3310.
SOS 3312 Statistics in the Social Sciences (this cannot count toward minor because it is a required upper level course)

 

Student seeking this minor must meet the following requirements:
1. The grade point average for all courses taken at UHD and applied to the minor must be at least 2.0.
2. Transfer courses applied to the minor may be restricted by the individual program.
3. Courses applied toward this minor must include a minimum of six hours of upper-level course work taken at UHD.
4. Upper-level courses applied toward the major may not be counted also toward the fulfillment of minor requirements.
