Dr. Anita Chadha received her PhD in Public Policy and Public Administration from Auburn University in 1997. Her Masters in Public Administration is from Auburn as well; her bachelors degree from Samford University in 1990.

Dr Chadha has been teaching at UHD since 2002. Prior to UHD, Dr. Chadha taught both graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her teaching interests are courses on American Government, Political Participation and Democracy, Public Policy, Public Administration, and Organizational Theory.

Dr. Chadhas' research agenda focuses on patterns of voting (overreporting of voting), legislative term limits, and the functions and workloads of state legislative fiscal offices. Some of her publications have been in American Politics Quarterly, Journal of Public Affairs and Issues, Public Opinion Quarterly and State and Local Government Review.
