Organization Description
Place volunteers in City of Houston departments and Council Offices to learn more about city government and develop an understanding and appreciation of what city employees do.

Description of Internship
Depends upon the needs of the assignment.  Generally times are flexible.  Usually only evenings and weekends are needed in Council Offices unless a department might have a special event.

Criteria for Interns
Open to all social science majors.  Minimum age preferred 18 years
