Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society

Sigma Tau Delta, brings together students with an interest in literature, culture, and intellectual camaraderie. Students inducted into the English honors society connect with other writers, readers, theorists, and critical thinkers to foster a vibrant culture of literacy on campus.

Active members of the Alpha Kappa Omega chapter at UHD meet regularly to discuss books, classes, ideas, papers, and research and to collaborate on such group goals as inviting local writers to campus, organizing workshops on how to publish poetry and fiction, offering film screenings, and participating in reading circles, book clubs, and writing groups.
