Poetry and poetics, identity, labor, gender, history, form, prosody, authority, queer theory and performativity, oral poetics and manuscript culture, post colonial theory, activist New Formalist theory, confession, vernacularity, aesthetics.
Publications:
I am currently working on a book project that uses an activist New Formalist examination of late medieval English masculine poetic identity. My poem, “Courtship” is forthcoming in Canteen; a book review of Emma Lipton’s Affections of the Mind is also forthcoming in Modern Philology.
