O'Kane Theatre
The O' Kane Theatre is an intimate venue, seating no more than 100 people. The stage is located within four feet of the audience, making attention to detail an important characteristic in every production. This close proximity also gives the audience member a feeling of being directly involved in the action on stage.

O'Kane Gallery
The O' Kane Gallery presents exhibitions throughout the year with artwork by professional and emerging artists. In addition, UH Downtown art students and high schools are given an opportunity to see their work exhibited, perhaps for the first time, through exhibitions aimed at nurturing young artists.

Center for Public Deliberation
The UHD Center for Public Deliberation (CPD) is a collaborative, non-partisan group that encourages citizens to actively participate in the deliberative democracy process through public discussions about issues that affect their lives. The UHD CPD serves as a resource to help leaders and citizens engage in and facilitate thoughtful conversations about important public issues like health care, education, fair wage, unemployment, racism, and other issues that are relevant to Houston and the nation.

Center for Family Strengths
The mission of the CFS is to support families by infoming community-based services that promote and sustain family systems. The CFS facilitates family, worker, supervisor and agency training; promotes research and evaluation; and disseminates information for best practices that support family centered practice.
