SPANISH - Advanced Placement (AP) Credit
Arts & Humanities | Art | Communication Studies | Drama | Foreign Languages | Humanities | Music

Students who take the Advanced Placement (AP) exam in high school for Spanish Language or Spanish Literature will receive credit as follows:

A grade of 3 or 4:                6 hours of "S" credit for SPAN 2301and 2302
A grade of 5:                       9 hours of "S" credit for SPAN 2301, 2302, and 3301.

Please note that the Records Office must have on file official scores sent from Educational Testing Services.   However, you should also be advised that UHD has no role in the actual testing for Advanced Placement credits, which have to be earned in High School.  

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) credits may also be earned and transferred to UHD.
