ESPN 97.5 Internship

Organization Description: Are you looking for a relevant and FUN internship? Do you love sports? Do you have a passion for radio? Do you thrive in a fast paced industry?

Location: ESPN 97.5, 9801 Westheimer, Suite 700, Houston, Texas 77042

Supervisor: Julie Takahashi, Assistant Program Director and Internship Coordinator and Dave Tepper, Program Director

Basic Requirements:

• Be enrolled in a college / university
• Be at least a Junior in college
• Have a suggested GPA of at least a 3.0 in their major course studies
• Be receiving college credit for their internship
• Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week

Eperience / Skills:

• No experience necessary
• Outgoing & Dependable
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must work well under pressure
• Good communication and/or customer service skills

All internships are non-paid.

Job Summary: As one of the most NATIONALLY recognizable brands, ESPN 97.5 is seeking individuals who will be passionate, responsible and dependable for a station that believes in a fun and positive environment.  Has to be able to interact with listeners as well as assisting with the execution and coordination of live shows and broadcasts.
