Art Minor
Minimum requirements
A grade point average of 2.0
A grade of at least C in all art courses applied toward minor
12 of the 18 required hours, including the required 6 upper-level hours must
be taken at UHD
Art History -- 3 to 6 hours from the following:
- ART 1301 History of Art I
- ART 1302 History of Art II
- ART 1310 Art Appreciation
Upper-level -- 6 to 9 hours
- ART 3301 Major Developments in the History of Art
- ART 3302 History of Modern Art (crosslisted with HUM 3324)
- ART 3303 History of Renaissance Art (crosslisted with HUM 3303)
- ART 3306 Art and Religion - Origins (crosslisted with HUM 3306)
- ART 3307 Art and Religion - Developments (crosslisted with HUM 3307)
- ART 3311 Survey of Asian Art (crosslisted with HUM 3311)
- HUM 4390 Field Experience (must be in a gallery or museum and approved)
Beginning Studio -- 3 to 6 hours from the following:
