admissions and registration

 

In order to be considered for the program, students must submit an application to the College of Business, Continuing and Professional Education office and have one of the following credentials:

 

  • Referred by a financial services institution and at least a minimum of 6 accredited semester hours in Accounting or

                       

  • Undergraduate business degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or

                  

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate business program, with no more than 12 semester hours remaining and a minimum GPA of 3.0

 

Submit your online application on or before August 22, 2014. After reviewing your credentials, one of our admissions officers will contact you. Once accepted to the program, you will receive an email with instructions to register online.

 

Register on or before August 27, 2014. This 16-week program starts on September 3, 2014. Classes are on Wednesdays, 7:00 PM to 9:45 PM. Tuition fee is $2,400. Late registration tuition fee is $2,600 and late registration deadline is August 29, 2014.

Withdrawal, Reschedule, and Refund Policy

Withdrawals requested within five (5) business days from a class start date will result in a full refund minus a processing fee of $150.

Withdrawals or reschedules requested later than five (5) business days from a class start date will result in no refund.

Withdrawals or reschedules must be requested by email. Send all correspondence to ccc@uhd.edu.

 

Cancellation Policy

Any and all fees paid toward classes cancelled by University of Houston Downtown will be promptly refunded or applied to a later class date at the customer's discretion. All registrations will be confirmed by email.

In the event that the university is officially closed due to natural or manmade disaster, activities in the course will be suspended until the university officially reopens. All decisions will be communicated through the same channels that the university uses to communicate with students during disasters. Adjustments to the syllabus may be made by the instructor, as appropriate.
