Study Abroad - Argentina

Special Topic: “ Argentina: Global Impacts on Business & Technology”

This 4390 upper division elective is a special topics course dealing with the impact of Latin America as an emerging economic player in the global business arena. The student is introduced to a wide range of topics pertaining to the economic and technical implications of Latin America and to the business use of information technology on a global scale. We will arrange group outings to experience the business climate of the city and its culture.

The class will meet during the fall semester only on Mondays from 5:30-6:45 p.m. The second half of the course will be conducted in Buenos Aires for a week in January around the 3rd to the 10th. We are planning various plant tours and field trips around the city so it should be very interesting. The class is set up as a Special Topic 4390 in all of the business disciplines so it will count toward any business degree. The only prerequisite is that you have completed 12 hours at UHD and are a declared business major.
